Sydney Harbour views for a lunch on Pyrmont Bay : September 3 2026
A different day lining up. Having lunch in the city with a friend. I picked the pub based on $15 steak offer and location close to public transport. And it is in a place I know - Pyrmont Bridge Hotel - just upnfrom where my wife used to work
Was one train late to catch the ferry from Barangaroo to Pyrmont Bay - photo of tbe ferry leaving. A 400 metre ferry ride turns into a 1.5 km walk to cross Pyrmont Bridge

We had a good lunch once we moved away from some noisy blokes. Steaks were well prepared - too bad $15 did not stretch to salad too. Needed extra bucks for that

Did accounting when I got home. Did cook dinner for a friend - Thai red duck curry from a packet - worked well.
