In 2018 I knitted a sleeveless cardigan for Lory with my favourite yarn called Mischief by Elle. It seemed appropriate at the time considering that Lory wasn't a year old yet but was quite a naughty cute little munchkin. When the cardigan was complete, it was miles too big for her. I jokingly told my mom at the time that it would fit her when she is four, so I put it away in a cupboard and kinda forgot about it.

When I was packing up the house and emptying the cupboards I found the cardigan and packed it into Lory's suitcase to come with us for when autumn crept in. The wool I used is so soft and cozy, it is most delicious!

A little while ago I found it again and asked Lory if she wanted to try it on. She was very happy and quite game to do a bit of a dress up. I was so happy when she put it on and it fits her so beautifully. I need to make the buttonholes a bit smaller but I think it suits her well.

This wasn't knitted from a pattern but it was inspired by the Azel Pullover by the Velvet Acorn (I love her style of knitting) and this was my own interpretation of it. I kinda messed up the collar section a bit so it sits a bit skew, but I still think it was a pretty good attempt at making up my own pattern as I went. It will probably fit her until she's about 6 and then I will pass it on to one of her younger cousins.

I'm tempted to knit another one but in a bigger size (maybe one for when she's 8 and maybe one for me for when I grow up )

What colour do you guys think I should knit next?
