Maya Angelo once said "If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love." These words still hold true to this day. A smile has the power to change a persons day that might've been going thru it. So why not give a smile to the people you love the most? Billy J. Bruner shows that a smile can mean the world to the one that is your world with his latest video "Smile".
Billy J. Bruner is an incredible singer and songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma whose gift for music is a blessing to the world and just as importantly his church. His ability to move people also led him to accepting his calling as a vessel of The Word, becoming Pastor to the RESTORATION CHRISTIAN CENTER (a ministry tailored by God). His love of music has given him the opportunities to travel the world, yet he has always stayed grounded in his Faith. It was his Faith that helped him start his own record label Bruner Bros. Music Group which has released various genres of music such as Gospel, R&B, and Hip-Hop. And again his Faith was there on January 1, 2011 when he suffered a massive attack that almost ended his life. Throughout the whole process of recovering both physically and spiritually, his Faith was with him every step of the way. And even now with his return to recording, his Faith continues to be with him with the release of his latest record "Smile".
The track "Smile" is a smooth jam that will have you steppin' in the name of love. The title of the track perfectly fits the feel. It's a feel good track. Plain and simple. But the vocal performance by Billy J. Bruner is anything but plain, as he shows an impressive vocal range of notes. He can sang. Especially if you listen at 3:27 where he truly shows off his ability to hit some high notes that can only be described as "sent from the angels."
Our love is forever,
And they know I'm not going nowhere,
You are the one,
Who makes me smile,
Every great song needs a great video. Smile is brought to life with the help of Cashoma Films. The video showcases first hand how moments in time only matter if your with the one you want to spend your time with. Whether this is exploring downtown or two-steppin' to your favorite song, the best moments are the ones that make you Smile.
