What I'm about to say today is not just a different perspective or opinion, it might be the main reason behind a lot of suffering that I had to deal with throughout my entire life.
It's as written in the title; the passage of time. Which is relative; an hour with a close friend or a family member might feel like a couple of minutes, and an hour spent in a queue somewhere waiting for your turn might feel like a week.
That idea made me somehow unemployable; whenever I try a fixed job I feel like I can't take the passage of time. I keep looking at the watch every couple of minutes, and it feels unlike always; time isn't flying by at all.
So, one thing that I have done and still do is teaching English, and because this is something I'm very passionate about, I don't feel an hour is that long, at least it passes like an actual hour not like a decade.
As of now, I'm not in a very good financial situation, and I need that job that I'm about to quit for the same reason I've been talking about for the past couple of minutes, I just can't take the passage of time, can't tolerate it, for that, I quit.
