You lost me.

When you held her hand instead of mine
Your souls been intertwined
And here I am shocked by the news
Cause you'd be tying the knot in a month or two

I've written countless songs for you
Songs of love, longing, heartbreak and in blues
I promised myself to not make no more
Yet now I feel the need to

I've loved you for so long yet you didn't gave me chance
And so I was broken, did things God couldn't understand
But a few years went by and I met this guy
And all of the sudden he turned my grey skies into white

I loved him so dearly, and I would want him forever
But when I saw you getting married to a girl that I never knew you would come to love
I felt numb and depressed whatsoever
I was in the verge of crying, my heart almost stopped

But there is nothing I could do
I hate seeing you happy, I really do
Cause that proposal could've been me and you
But you didn't chose me, and neither did I chose you.

You lost me.

Hi everybody. How's it going? It has been a while since I've made some short poetry on the spot here on Hive, and it felt good releasing some stress off my chest. haha. I hope you enjoy reading this, cause I almost cried making it. HAHA. I plan to make some song out of it in the future, too. Well, anyway, enjoy.
