Happy Spring Equinox, Friends!!
In ancient times this used to be our New Year and to me that makes so much sense.
I don't know you feel but I really do sense a shift in energy and I'm quite excited for the times to come. It feels like something new is just around the corner :)
I've been a little absent from Hive the last week. I did read and engage, but didn't post anything.
I don't really feel a great need for expression, I seem to rather go inward at the moment.
I meditate, I dance, I think and sometimes I just sit on the balcony doing nothing but enjoying the view.
I also learn a lot of new stuff!
I'm jumping from subject to subject, following my excitement. One day it's Astrology, the other Feng Shui, then Acupressure and Reflexolgy. On the side I read about ancient Mazdan magical practices and medicinal herbs.
But mostly I feel and connect the dots.
I feel like I'm in some kind of transformation phase and I get a lot of healing insights that take me another step towards being even more happy and free.
Even the apartment that we live in right now helps me with that. It's quite high up the mountain, on the edge of the little village at the Albanian coast.
No one ever comes up here, it's really quiet, and all the people and their daily business seem to be very far. I'm literally above it all ^^
It gives me the opportunity to look far and deep and to really care for myself without the outside world knocking all the time.
But tomorrow is the first day of the new (sun)year, the first day of spring, winter is over, life comes back.
So it's very appropriate that this will be the day when my parents come back to join us for a few days and we'll probably sit and talk all day about their adventures in Greece and Life and the World and Everything :)
This past winter has been very special, I feel like I've come quite far on my quest of healing, happiness and freedom. Every one of the three apartments that we lived in during that time had its special energy to it that helped me along part of the way.
I feel very ready for a New Year, a new chapter, and I'm so excited about what's to come!
