Here is the tunnels maps that will guide the way, as there are no lights and all there is, is small spaces.
This is a rebuilt entrance way that was never this fancy. It was usually covered in grass and trees and hidden from the sky and land by those that took the time to walk by.
Everything had to be in disguise so that no one of these tunnels could be found. There was hundred of people living in these tunnels. Whole generations of family down there.
Dug with farm tools, held together with the will of a people not willing to give up their freedoms for the sake of a corruptions. The moral fibre this place must have been.
Bringer of death.
This is the tunnel. Hard to see and dark, that is the way many lived. They decided it was better to go underground then to live on land with the government and war.
This was they way they could protect their family from the evil that Kissinger brought.
One living quarter.
Empty but filled with the spirit of the place still lingers and wanders.
Another room for an entire family or two.
Hard packed clay walls, still standing. Lasting longer then moat things built further east.
To think all those tunnels and all those that walked thought it and had a touch and feel of these walls as they want along for years living in this place.
This being the only light you can see for years.
Until you make it out to the coastal opening for supplies and a way to get out....one of many.
These tunnels were built by hand in the the soft earth by the town of Vin Vietnam. Where they saved lives by putting them into the ground and protected their freedom by make sacrifices they never should have had to.
