Being a product of a broken family has its own story. But the effect of it goes down to the root of the well-being of an offspring of the two separated individuals. There were negatives but it depends on how to deal such of the person who is concerned. Mine is a little bit okay though because both my father's and mother's sides are very supportive in me of all aspects of life. Even my biological father supported me as well and my family name was his' too, he named me after their names Rommel and Marilyn so it becomes MELYN.
I may not be lucky when it comes to where I came from because it's broken but it never hinders me to work hard for me to reach all my dreams which is why from the very beginning this is my motto in life SOAR HIGH AND HIT THE MARK! The Lord did not withhold all the graces of life. Despite what happen he provided me with everything in life.
My Graduation Portrait...
I did my best to be a SOMEBODY and be one of the inspirations to those who are having the same story as mine for them not to quit and belittle themselves and with God's grace, I made it! I graduated with my bachelor's degree and later my master's degree. This year will be my graduation from my doctorate but I chose to prioritize first my pregnancy over my dissertation, though I enrolled it already but I quit this time. I know in God's time I can finish this degree (They Will Be Done).
Together with all these blessings I have received before marriage except for my doctorate because it's my husband who financed me, I promised myself to treat my father even just once in a lifetime. Although he is a seaman I know it feels great when I will treat him. We seldom meet which is why the moment I knew that his at home, I took that opportunity to invite him to eat outside together with my grandparents.
We're here and we're all excited..
We went to one of the prominent restaurants nearby to our residence The Capitancillo Cafe and Restaurant & Catering Services. Many would love to come in here a couple of times because of its very affordable and delicious food. It was their first time coming in here which is why they were in awe as we enter the restaurant. Aside from it's clean and tidy, the waitresses are very amiable toward their customers.
The food that we order...
They were the ones who chose this menu. Since I am with my grandparents so there must be a soup on the table. I ordered two sets for this Pochero without knowing that they will serve the big bowl. We were laughing when the moment it was served.
We were puzzled as to how to finish all the food on the table. We were full so we decided to pack it up and bring it home. Just to avoid wasting any of them. Before we left the restaurant, we stayed for a minute because we had a sumptuous lunch and our stomachs were full. They thanked me for I was the one paying the bill. Well, it's a small thing for me. My goal was to make them happy.
We had our group picture before leaving. They thought that after eating we were going back straight home but I told them that our next itinerary was to go to a KTV bar nearest to the restaurant as well.
It's Singing Bee Time..
I belong to a family which is good at singing which is why during get-togethers singing moments will not be missed. It's one way to distress ourselves as well.
Hooray for today! Therefore, paying back to our loved ones is one of the best ways to make them happy. It's not obligatory but it's a must before it's too late. We have to make use of time while they're still here on Earth. Spending our utmost time and making them happy is a great privilege for me as one of his children. Their happiness means happiness to me as well.
