Finally Together Again: Our Cozy Coffee Afternoon Date with the Girls!☕

It’s another little story from my everyday life. Just a moment I enjoyed and thought was worth sharing here on Hive. 🌸

I have this sweet group of ladies who are not just my friends, but my relatives too. For the longest time, we’ve been planning to get together... to have a moment of bonding, to catch up what's been happening in each other's life, to share each out little problems and find solutions to be a better wives and moms haha.
And of course… coffee is always a must whenever we gather.
We made it happen last Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect time for all of us, as we were free and we were all excited.
The last time they met, I couldn’t make it because Aiden got sick. I felt so sad missing it. So that makes this one extra special for me since I really missed everyone and our heart to heart talks. 🥹
We gathered at my aunt’s house, and Ate Claire brought her mini espresso machine. She’s the one who knows how to brew coffee perfectly, so we just sat, relaxed, and waited. ☺️
It wasn’t just coffee, though. We also had macaroni soup, plus tusok-tusok like hotdogs, kikiam, and squid balls. It went so well with the coffee 🤤 I actually didn’t get to take photos of the food because I was busy feeding my kids. 😅 But everything was so filling and delicious. Ate Lanie also brought some bread to share too.
We spent the whole afternoon laughing, sharing stories, opening up about our challenges as wives and moms, and encouraging one another. It felt so good to be heard and to know we’re all in this together 💛
The conversation just never seemed to end. 😅 We hope we can do it again soon.
Time always flies when you’re having fun with people who understand you.
