Hey, everyone. Amir is here. Voted the third-best Iraqi on the platform despite being the only one on it. I am here to introduce a Comedy Community, or COMmunity as it will be obnoxiously called from now on. It will be a place for laughter, jokes, and you can come to it if you are also into getting offended, all people are welcome.

Background

20 Minutes ago I decided to start a COMmunity. The end.

Okay, Actual Background.

If you have read my Hive Story, voted the 8th best Hive Story written by an Iraqi on the platform, you'd know that I got my start in Steemit with the help of @comedyopenmic where I posted a lot of funny, but not really, posts under the tag #comedyopenmic.

It served as a great launching pad for many starters, as well as home and support for many people who went on to do great things on the platform, also people who were bad by every account like @belemo.

It was a fun time period that lasted almost a year as it happened before communities were a thing. We had a decent amount of support, delegations, and donations throughout our first run. But I think now is a great time to open the door for new comedians in any form of medium. Look at our previous supporters.

@theycallmedan, @appreciator, @galenkp, @anomadsoul, and many other big names on the platform........... Have never heard of us.

But we did get support from @traf, @curie, and @ocd. But that was when their OCD was mild. I am not sure they even exist nowadays. Also @nonameslefttouse, but he had name options at the time.

I mean we had a song about dicks for crying out loud. We have no standards as it was funny

Soooooo....

@thisismylife time to bring on Moredchai back into the blockchain, he needs it as the pandemic might be limiting his venues options. @traf/ @trafalgar, time to pick up posting comedy again. @mineopoly, @diebitch, @improv, @doomsdaychassis time to come home. @trumpman, maybe join us until the next election. @beautifulwreck, that poor, innocent, nice, kindhearted canibbal girl deserves to have the remaining of her story told.

Calling for @dandays, @dandesign86, and all other Dans on the platform to jump into the community. Also, the Undertaker might wanna share his @wrestlingdesires and tombstone a post or two.

The Goal of the COMmunity

It would be cool for all the poor comedians scattered across the blockchain to have a commonplace to talk about their farts and share their painful experiences that are destroying their souls in a funny way as their souls slowly rot inside. They're currently lost in need of a home, if not for them, do it for their poor children who are scarred watching Mammy and Daddy tell jokes in front of the bathroom mirror.

The Current Plan

I will be soon announcing a contest worth at least 60 HBD (As well as whatever this post makes). The total will be divided into 4 weeks, 15 HBD (Plus the variables) will be given each week in a weekly contest. The rest will depend on stability and self-sufficiency, so the rewards might go up or down, it will all come to how much support the weekly contest gets. Rules and announcements for the contest will come in a later post.

As for the community itself, I hope that anyone reading this would feel free to start posting in the community, maybe share it with friends so they would join. Who knows? Maybe soon we will outnumber everyone and finish the job Thanos started, but that's only the very long-term plan.

A Community account will be created if anyone is interested in delegation and other forms of support. Everything it makes will into the community and curators.

In Conclusion

Between all the seriousness, the constant checking on crypto exchange sites, and stressing about life, in my opinion, the blockchain could use a place where they have a laugh or two. A place they could call HAHAHAHAHAHome. I know that was lame but I spent ten minutes staring at the screen hoping to come up with something to end this post.
