Easiest to write when everything is green and rising. When the steep road is washed in red it is easier to be silent. but
As a network influencer with more than 1000 followers I feel obligated to address the situation.
The markets are collapsing and the crypto is at the heart of the storm. Is this a violent correction? Is this the end? Let's think for a moment what has changed and what remains the same.
What has changed?
First, the interest rate on the US dollar has risen. The era of free money is coming to an end and it has an immediate and real impact on loan pricing and the amount of money in the market.
Second thing the war in Ukraine is also a global economic war and this adds inflationary pressure that adversely affects the pocket of almost everyone.
What remains the same?
people. Markets continue to move according to feelings of fear and greed.
People's needs for food and energy and the desire for a better and more advanced world have not changed.
The falls in my opinion will cause 2 things -
Scams and failures will be discovered. Also in the crypto market, like the stability mechanism of collapsing currencies, but especially in centralized institutions. Stock exchanges without coverage, banks with weak security, unsecured payment systems. When there is money, all the leaks are covered, but in the low tide, those who swim without a bathing suit are discovered, and then the madoffs are also revealed.
Food and energy technologies will receive a boost - green energy will receive investments due to high oil prices. Food substitutes will receive income and investment because of food prices. Interest rates are a short-term market, but only technology lowers inflation and improves quality of life.
So what will we get after the storm?
More sophisticated systems, healthier and cleaner food and energy. And a healthier and cleaner financial system. And in this climate I'm sure it will turn out that the blockchain is more reliable than any central database. American or Russian.
