This prompt got me thinking...
What would you do if you were not allowed to garden anymore?
I don't even want to imagine what I'll do because I've become so used to gardening.
For the sake of this prompt, I'll try to picture the scenario. Let's see what I'll do.
Firstly, I'll decorate my whole space with artificial flowers and green grass. That way it feels like I'm actually in my garden.
If I'm allowed to get pot of real flowers or plant even in small quantities, I'll surely get them and beautify my balcony with it. I'll nurture it so much.
I would also write about plants based on my experience. The herbs I know and their uses, for others who would love to become a gardener someday.
I'll teach people how to nurture seedlings, and grown plants so they thrive.
I could also choose to become a photographer of plants. I'll visit different gardens, and take nice pictures of them. Open a page on social media, share the pictures and curate a couple of them.
I could also decide to venture into art, designs and color production. The truth is, nature is art and to preserve those memories, I could decide to be a botanical illustrator. I'll sketch different plants based on the knowledge I had as a gardener.
I could also decide to produce natural dye from used plants or venture into textile designs inspired by nature (garden especially).
In summary, I'll do anything that still relates to gardening. There's this joy that comes from nature. And, that's what I want to experience for the rest of my life.
Images belong to me.
