Nothing beats having a feedback from your student.

The joy that comes from seeing a person you teach excel is unexplainable.

My newest student is just two weeks old with me and I'm so proud of the things she can do lately.

Although, she didn't come in as a total novice because she was a free-hand designer. She came in for an intermediate upgrade.

Prior to now, her zippers usually do not lay well , as they bulge. But, with the right technique she now knows how to eliminate zipper bulge.

If you take a look at her outfit you see how the dart is laying pretty well and how her outfit fits like glove. That's because of pattern drafting and all the techniques I taught her to make it right.

She was too excited about her outfit outcome, that she reached out to me to show me what she made without my supervision. It actually made my day and I feel really good to know I've been a good tutor all along.

Meanwhile, I gave her assignment on a basic bodice and I can't wait see her full fit.

I'll definitely share with you all the outcome of her fit, if she eventually submit the assignment.

I had a good and pleasant day. It was quite sunny but I had meaningful conversations with my sister whom I went to visit today, so put together. I was glad about how everything went today.
