What a day it was today.

I'm so exhausted!! It was a very long and hectic day I wouldn't even lie.

I had numerous orders from my client, so I hit the road in search of the actual fabric for each styles.

This market I visited today is called the Ojo Market , also known as Iyanoba.

When I left the house, it wasn't raining but as soon as I got to the bus stop to board a bus. It began raining cats and dogs.

I sought shelter around, hoping for the rain to stop.

It took about forty-five minutes,for the rain to stop.

To my greatest surprise when I arrived at the market, everywhere was dry.

I was glad though, because the market is usually messy when it rains.

I headed straight to my vendor who sells Adire Crepe fabric. The challenge I had as pairing the Adire fabric with a plain fabric that complement each other.

I had to choose between the purple and biege. I think the beige was better.

I also got some more Adire crepe for sale. I chose about four others.

Then I went to the satin section. I helped my sister to buy the burnt orange satin , which she'll be needing to make a dinner wear.

Lastly, I got a peach colored crepe of about five yards for a maxi Basque dress which I can't wait to post here as soon as I'm done.

Fabric sourcing is usually tasking, but it's part of the fashion business. How did your day go?
