I was playing around my shelf when I stumble on a very old album by P-square.
Back in the days, they both sang together and honestly they made good music together.
This particular song brought back so many memories. I remember how much I love to watch P-square because they were very good Cheroegraphers, they dance and steal your heart away with their harmony. I think I still remember some of their songs like "roll it," "Busy body" Amongst others.
I also remember how much I loved listening to this song. The lyrics, beat and even the music video got me loving P-square even more back then.
Sadly, they do not sing together anymore but at least we can go back to their old melodious songs and just listen. Life happened and they both parted. Well, I'm glad they still sing even though not as a duo anymore.
Every good song has a message to pass if you pay close attention nd not just vibe to it.
This song preaches loyalty and commitment. A young man professing love to a certain lady and promising her good loving.
He is ready to be more than a friend and ready to stick with her through it all.
In our world of today, some people are already in love with their besties (opposite sex besties) but they do not even have the courage to tell them what they feel, they assume they might be rejected.
Before I go further, I would love to ask a quick question: is it even possible to be just platonic friends with the opposite sex without catching feelings?
Well, like I always say; love is a beautiful feeling and if anyone feels something for another person, it's better to tell them.
You may never know their response until you actually tell them. They too could be catching feelings.
In a case where they turn you down, it's not even the end of the world, we have over eight billions people in the world and so your soul mate is out there waiting for you to show up.
This song reminds us to express how we feel inside and ignore what people may say about our choice of whom to be with. At the end of the day, it's your happiness that count and not what others think about you or whom you've chosen to love.
