To be a mother of two adorable girls you must be equipped with a lot of creativity especially if you want your girls to be look beautiful and gorgeous always.
There are some days that you won't have time to visit the saloon or maybe you have an impromptu occasion to attend and what will you do at such notice?
Two days ago I have to lose the hair that they made for the summer break because school will soon resume and I want to apply some natural treatment on their hair before they will make a new hair style for school resumption.
Yesterday, we were invited for a birthday party at the Beach and all my attempt to dodge the party was futile as my friend insisted that I come with the girls and the girls in the same time were all eager to attend the birthday party. At that moment I have no other choice than to activate my creativity as a mother who have to switch to a hair stylist.
The style that I chose does not require much and the pictures does justice to the steps involved to arrived to the final finishing. I used a hair wax called kaima to hold the hair in place.
I was a bit skeptical about how the hair will turn out but I decided to trust my creativity and hope for the best. There was this lady that always watch her hair tutorial videos and I admire the styles she use to make for her daughter. Infact it was one of her videos that inspired me to try out this style for my daughter. She use hair wax a lot to make beautiful styles for her daughter and they always turn out great.
The lady's videos are not the only hair tutorial videos that I enjoy watching. I have watched other amazing videos of other hair stylists and also other parents who are just trying out their skill on their daughter's hair. There was this one that I watched last two weeks where the little girl that was about 4 years old was correcting her father who was packing her hair for her that he didn't do a good job. She was actually telling him that the buns he made was supposed to be bigger. I laughed so much and I enjoyed that video.
It took me 20 minutes to make this hair and I was exhausted to handle her sister's hair because I have been working since morning and also we were already running late for the birthday party. So i packed my younger daughter's hair in a very much simpler style. When we got to the party, my friend and other mothers were really impressed on how i was able to pack my girls hair.
I enjoyed the time that I bring out to work on my girls hair. It strengthens our mother and daughters bond. It also bring out avenue for us to talk about a lot of things. There are sometimes that I get busy with work but having this time with them is so priceless and so I intend to do it more often.
