Familia que conviven en la comunidad, hoy plasmo las dos semanas productivas de vacaciones que disfrute con mi niña Amanda. Resulta que en Argentina, el Ministro de Educación, asigna 2 semanas de vacaciones por el frío, por suerte también tengo vacaciones, ya que trabajo como docente integrador y gozo de este beneficio. Este año organicé diferente las vacaciones, pensando en conocer con Amanda nuevos lugares y desarrollar el talento en otros espacios; además de ejercitar otras actividades como la lectura para fortalecer el hábito. Las vacaciones permiten descansar y ocupar el pensamiento en acciones relajantes o en actividades gratificantes para generar risas, diversión y conocimiento.

Family that lives together in the community. Today I am capturing the two productive weeks of vacation that I enjoyed with my daughter Amanda. It turns out that in Argentina, the Minister of Education assigns 2 weeks of vacation because of the cold; luckily, I also have vacation since I work as an inclusive teacher and I enjoy this benefit. This year I organized my vacations differently, thinking about getting to know new places with Amanda and developing my talent in other spaces, besides exercising other activities such as reading to strengthen the habit. Vacations allow us to rest and occupy our thoughts with relaxing actions or in rewarding activities to generate laughter, fun, and knowledge.

El viernes 14 de julio fue el último día de clases y el domingo 16 estaba planificado para asistir al cumpleaños de una compañera de Amanda. La celebración era lejos de casa y decidí ir en compañía de otra mami y su hija, quien estaba también invitada al pelotero. Los niños disfrutaron la fiesta, hubo maquillaje, animación, comida, cotillón, pelotero, mucha energía en compañía de los amigos de la escuela. En la noche ronda de Rummy, junto al papá, el hermano, la mamá y Flor (cuñi) se pasó una velada entretenida. El juego de mesa ayuda a observar y crear la jugada de posibles fichas a poner en la mesa y quedar sin piezas, Amanda conoce la estrategia del juego.

Friday, July 14th, was the last day of school, and Sunday, July 16th, was planned to attend the birthday of one of Amanda's classmates. The celebration was far from home, and I decided to go in the company of another mom and her daughter, who were also invited to the park. The kids enjoyed the party; there was make-up, animation, food, gifts, a ball game, and lots of energy in the company of school friends. In the evening Rummy round, together with dad, brother, mom, and Flor ( friend), they had an entertaining evening. The board game helps to observe and create the play of possible pieces to put on the table and run out of pieces, Amanda knows the strategy of the game.

El lunes 17 empezó la colonia de invierno (plan vacacional); en esta oportunidad 3 días en la tarde se la semana (lunes, martes, miércoles) para evitar el frío de la mañana. El lugar llamado Pura Pila cerca de la casa es atendido por profesionales que desarrollan actividades recreativas para hacer volar la imaginación. Amando 6 días disfrutando por 4 horas, en especial jugar con la tela de acrobacias y el día de despedida, fiesta de disfraces, ella estuvo sensible porque no quería que terminara.

On Monday, the winter camp (vacation plan) started, this time three days a week in the afternoon (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) to avoid the cold in the morning. The place called Pura Pila near the house is attended by professionals who develop recreational activities to let the imagination fly. Loving 6 days and enjoying 4 hours, especially playing with the acrobatic fabric and the farewell day, costume party, she was sensitive because she did not want it to end.

El martes 18 decidimos visitar el parque de la plaza, había que aprovechar la salida del sol para calentar el cuerpo. Después que pasó por diferentes áreas del parque, su cara decía que no quería continuar, así que le puse retos para motivar. Primero bajar por el tobogán de diferentes formas, subir la cuerda lo más que pueda y ascender por la red en equilibrio. En este día, Amanda ejercitaba coordinación, resolución, concentración, fuerza y equilibrio.

On Tuesday, the 18th, we decided to visit the park in the plaza. We had to take advantage of the sunrise to warm up. El miércoles 19, Amanda, después de la colonia, tuvo visita de la mejor amiga en casa, quien también se inscribió con ella en la colonia. El jueves 20, tuvo otro cumpleaños, pero esta vez fue la única amiga invita al pelotero. El espacio era diferente, tenía rincones de roles o simbólicos, había espacio para dibujar y una sala de gamer; fue un día íntimo con la amiga y finalizó con el cumpleaños feliz.

On Wednesday 19, Amanda, after the camp, had a visit from her best friend at home, who was also enrolled with her in the camp. On Thursday, the 20th, she had another birthday, but this time she was the only friend invited to the playground. The space was different; it had role-playing or symbolic corners; there was space to draw; and there was a gamer room. It was an intimate day with her friend and ended with a happy birthday.

El sábado 22 fuimos al cine con la compañera de estudios Juanita para ver Krakens y Sirenas, las dos niñas estaban muy contentas de estar juntas. La película versa sobre temas vivenciados en otros films infantiles, pero les confieso que los colores, los diseños y los personajes son hermosos; está bien definida la personalidad y la diversidad inclusiva no es un tópico forzado. El domingo 23, nos dirigimos en familia al Teatro Buenos Aires para ver la obra La Sirenita: Un amor submarino. Les cuento que los actores realizaron interpretaciones magistrales, mi favorito fue Sebastián, el cangrejo solidario, cantante, de buen humor, preocupado y teniana su favor saber interactuar con los niños. Sin embargo, a mi hija le gustó la Sirenita, Úrsula y Sebastián; Amanda posa con los actores de la obra muy feliz. Luego en familia conversamos sobre la historia para evaluar la experiencia de Amanda.

On Saturday, the 22nd, we went to the movies with our classmate Juanita to see Krakens and Sirena, both were very happy to be together. The movie deals with themes experienced in other children's films, but I must confess that the colors, designs, and characters are beautiful, the personalities are well-defined, and it does not exaggerate the inclusive diversity. On Sunday, the 23rd, we went as a family to the Buenos Aires Theater to see the play The Little Mermaid: An Underwater Love. I have to tell you that the actors gave masterful performances. My favorite was Sebastian, the supportive, singing, good-humored, concerned crab who knew how to interact with the children. However, my daughter liked the Little Mermaid, Ursula, and Sebastian; Amanda poses with the actors of the play very happily. Then, as a family, we talked about the story to evaluate Amanda's experience.

Los días siguientes estuvieron distribuidos entre la colonia de invierno, la clase de taller de arte de todos los martes; también practicamos lectura, escritura y matemática. Amanda me acompañó a mi trabajo por una hora mientras atendía un niño, ella jugaba con la hermana del niño para luego ir de paseo a la plaza. Amanda es una niña que como muchos posee rabietas o manifiesta enojo por estar inconforme, no obstante, cooperó para que no tuviese inconvenientes en cumplir mi deber como profesional y que al final haríamos un paseo juntas.

The following days were distributed between the winter camp and the art workshop class every Tuesday; we also practiced reading, writing, and math. Amanda accompanied me to work for an hour while I took care of a child; she played with the child's sister and then went for a walk to the plaza. Amanda is a child who, like many, has tantrums or shows anger for being dissatisfied; however, she cooperated so that I had no problem fulfilling my duty as a professional, and at the end we would go for a walk together.

Por último, el sábado descansamos y el domingo 30, cerramos visitando el Centro Cultural Kirchner (CCK). Amanda, conoce el lugar porque la escuela planifica encuentros educativos. Entonces el sitio está dividido por pisos de conocimiento, pero Amanda decide visitar los favoritos, uno de ellos, arte: pintar y crear, ahí dibuja, construye con piezas sobre mesa transparentes iluminada desde abajo o construir en una superficie imantada. Después quiso ir a la cúpula donde están los videos juegos antiguos, es decir, consolas y dispositivos antiguos. También decidió ir al Proyecto Batea consiste dibujar en una hoja redonda blanca con tinta china y colocarla en un artefacto que lee las manchas negras y crea música. Por último, eligió ir a la edición 31 de la feria del libro, se hizo el recorrido y escogió un libro porque ahora leer se ha convertido en un hábito importante. Realmente el lugar incentiva el aprendizaje, es interactivo, se desarrolla la imaginación, el pensamiento, genera interrogantes; se comparte en familia y el centro reúne muchos rasgos de interés para que los niños aprendan jugando.

Finally, on Saturday, we rested, and on Sunday 30, we closed with a visit to the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK). So the site is divided by floors of knowledge, but Amanda decides to visit the favorites, one of them, art: painting and creating, there she draws, builds with pieces on a transparent table illuminated from below or builds on a magnetized surface. Then she wanted to go to the dome where the old video games are, i.e., consoles and old devices. He also decided to go to the Batea consist3 Project to draw on a round white sheet of paper with Indian ink and place it by a device that reads the black spots and creates music. Finally, he chose to go to the 31st edition of the book fair, took the tour, and chose a book because now reading has become an important habit. The place really encourages learning; it is interactive, it develops the imagination and thinking, it generates questions, it is shared with the family, and the center has many interesting features for children to learn while playing.

Queridos padres, sé que muchos se le dificulta organizar vacaciones con los hijos por diferentes razones; los chicos necesitan de nuestra presencia en el desarrollo general y estar junto a ellos en la cúspide de los saberes y emociones durante el proceso es gratificante. Anímense a planificar un fin de semana y conversar mientras la experiencia envuelve el momento de compartir el conocimiento que se construye.

Dear parents, I know that many of you find it difficult to organize vacations with your children for different reasons. Children need our presence in their overall development, and being with them at the peak of their knowledge and emotions during the process is rewarding. We encourage you to plan a weekend and talk while the experience involves the moment of sharing the knowledge that is being built.
