Five matches into the new season Dallas FC have not scored a goal in any of those not to talk of winning a match. The head coach changed his formation to see if that was where the problem was and that move never produced the intended result.
Poor results keep coming up. The management contemplated replacing the head coach but then they considered the money he will pocket as compensation that balked at the idea.
Free agents were recommended for the head coach who took barely two days to make an assessment. He finally settled for one who appears to be much younger.
The first match the new striker played he scored two goals - a brace and Dallas FC won the game. Everyone was happy including the head coach. That win was the morale booster the team had lacked all these while.
The next game came and the new striker banged in a goal which was well enough to seal victory for Dallas FC. The team's morale became high.
From then henceforth Dallas FC who were once hovering within the relegation zone now found themselves among the top four teams in the league.
