Having not played hockey on Saturday I was determined to go for a walk on Sunday but the weather was definitely trying it's best to put me off. Eventually I managed to get myself out of the door but I only managed to walk about 7km. By the time I arrived back home I was completely soaked.
Following some lunch I then spent a couple of hours in my workshop making some progress on the Christmas ornaments I'm making for a friend. I think I'll be repeating that sentence quite a few times over the next few weeks.
The weather didn't improve all day and in the evening I relaxed my fuel saving policy and lit the wood burner for the first time this season. I hope I don't regret that when it starts to get really cold.
