These are the words of a talent trapped inside a person. Talent is the skill that someone naturally has to do something that is hard at ease. Everyone on earth is giving birth to with a talent trapped inside each of us. Someone who has talent is able to do something without trying as hard as someone who does not have a talent. Talent matters even more than people think. Doing what you are talented in gives you a clear distinction in that field more than the other. It will keep others thinking like; is he the only one? how did he manage to do that easily? there is something strange about him?.
If your talent is never been strived for or been discovered, you are going to find yourself doing other things that you will find very hard, stressful, annoying, unbearable and depressing. Your talent is going to be trapped inside you screaming and trying to show you a way to let it out of its bondage, that is inside you. A lot of people don't discover their talent because they didn't pay attention to the sign it gives. A talent will always give you a way through it.
I will like to tell you a short story about a friend of mine, John. John is a person that is obsessed with drawing. He will always want to draw in other to show a friend of his that he could draw more better than he is. Looking at the efficiency of his friends drawing, you could conclude that that is really his talent. But, john will never want to admit his friend could draw more better than he could. But, there was something about John anytime he finds himself doing any chores or even when drawing, he always find himself singing with a melodious voice in which you will fall in love with. Unfortunately for him, he never got once reason about his incomparable melodious voice. All he always do is to practice drawing which one way or the other will still find difficulties in. I will try to alert John, I will tell him "John, I think your talent is singing not drawing". He would say not it isn't, due to his obsession of trying to prove he could draw. Unforgettably, there was a particular day he was trying to sketch Mona Lisa's image by Day Vinci, and unknowingly for him he started singing. There was a little boy who was looking at his sketching, and suddenly the boy said "uncle John I think your talent is in singing not drawing ". It was at that moment John begins to pay attention to his talent, that is, drawing. To me I think it is not just the boy talking, I think his talent was speaking through the boy. Now John is a popular artiste in my country.
Therefore, I will want you to pay attention to your talent. It makes you work less and easily. Although, a little work is required for your talent to be discovered, but when discovered, you will know noting about struggling and hardworking again.
