Why do object appears smaller than their actual size - Length contractions
Prof Albert Einstein under his special theory of relativity explained length contractions. His theory only implies for a body in motion. He stated that for as more and more speed a body posses, the length of a body will reduce until it get to zero at speed limit(light speed); "although, I still imagine how the length of a body will reduce to zero......hmm, still doesn't make sense to me". His theory only account for a body moving at high speed. What about the following observation;
- Convergence of railway track
- Looking up a sky scrapers
- Looking up a mask, just to mention a few
All the above observation are not moving but still their length or gap get contracted as observed by a distance observer, but when close, regain its original size or length. No law of physics could account for these. Is it a property of human eyes? or a property of distance?....you need to find out!
Hi steemians once again, my name is Hydro and I have been out of steemit for a while due to the recently accomplished college entrance examinations conducted in my country of which I play an important role in the lectures of a lot of partakers in different tutorials.
