As I promised last time, Monday continues in black and white.
Although I almost ran out of time and nerves as today is one of those days when everything you imagined simply doesn't go your way.
I had in mind a shadow play with some of my dear mother's handiwork, but after a good wasted half hour I realized that there is definitely nothing of that gonna to happen today. Then the rest of the ideas came together and fell apart at the same speed.
Most of all, what makes me cringe is the sudden change of plans.
Dude, I had something planned for today!
My face expression was no longer for posing (not that it ever was). The bottom line is that I have never liked my facial expression in photos, my gaze is often penetrating and gives the impression of being too serious, to some even arrogance, but you get used to it over time. :p
I just don't like to smile while being photographed, it seems to me that every wrinkle I have and the ones I'm about to get pops out!
Portraying the situation.
And then I remembered an old project that happened while wiping the windows, the drops that were sliding down on the glass surface added to the mystery effect, as they were the first to be in focus. A quick run to the bathroom, looking for any available spray pump.
I have never been more happy with empty bottles of cleaning products.
Then I dismantled the glass table, oops I'll need that - I'm putting it back soon. I grabbed a couple of thick books with which to fasten the glass.
The camera is connected to the phone via a snap bridge, now what?
Two hours of setting up, rehearsals honestly exhausted me and the inspiration for the poses was simply not in sight.
I'm so not giving up!
Look at that sparkly ball!
May I touch it?
The shadows were still present regardless of the previously failed plan, now I'm already occupied and the photos are coming one after the other.
Admittedly, that's how it usually happens, I guess sometimes I need a warm-up before I get the shot I want.
And then the battery died...
One of the huge downsides when I use snap-bridge, the battery drains at an abnormal speed, similar to when I use live view.
Annoying...
While the battery is on the charger, I browsed through Pinterest a bit, looked for any innovations in posing and what is currently the most popular - double exposure is still at the top of the list, not surprised tho.
Two dashes will be more than enough until the end, back to work!
How many perfect photos do you usually get out of the total number (not counting the light testing)?
ISO 560/ EXPO.TIME 1/100 / F 2.8
P.S
I'm afraid to count how many of them didn't turn out well.
@monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, thank you all for your time and interest in what I do.
