I left my private room to explore the current ship location. Fragile welcomed me at the drawbridge and guided me around. I met Tarman, the pilot, and Dollman, a living puppet. Our new mission involved traveling to Australia to expand the Chiral Network.
I needed to leave my private room to check out this new place where I was stationed, so I decided to step outside.
When I tried to open the door and exit the room, Fragile came to welcome me onto the drawbridge.
She was there to help me get my bearings, explaining that this was the ship armory where I could check my weapons and manage my inventory.
There were rooms nearby that belonged to other crew members, looking pretty much identical to my own quarters.
Looking around, I noticed that Fragile had the same bluish tint to her appearance like Sam does, and understood it was just the unique lighting on the ship rather than her skin.
Fragile introduced Sam to the crew, revealing that they had met face-to-face before, as members of Drawbridge preferred to keep their true identities and privacy safe.
Sam followed Fragile to the headquarters of their operation, where he encountered a strange pool of tar in the room.
We were introduced to Tarman, the captain and pilot of the vessel, who was also a fellow sufferer of Dooms.
We learned that we were bound for the plate gate in Mexico, setting up the network foundation for our next major destination.
Our ultimate station lay on the other side in Australia, where we were tasked to link up next. We were officially going to Australia for real this time.
Sam found the BB pod where Lou was supposed to be kept, but something felt wrong. Someone mentioned the name Lou and revealed that he too was a member of Drawbridge.
Then came Dollman, who turned out to be a talking puppet rather than an ordinary crew member and he was the one talking about Lou. He claimed to be alive and his own master, possessing a wooden body with a human spirit trapped inside.
When Sam asked about Lou, Dollman pointed out that the pod was completely empty, though Fragile quickly shut him up.
Then Dollman suggested that taking Lou along to link up Australia would help everyone heal, just like the previous journey across America.
It seemed that Sam was the only person who actually saw Lou inside the pod, while others saw nothing.
After stepping out, I noticed real sunlight pouring down on us, showing that we had finally arrived at our location.
Tarman showed off his artificial hand, as he lost his original limb during a past disaster.
Fragile explained our main mission, which was to connect the entire Australian continent to the existing Chiral Network in North America.
The plan involved using the Mexican plate that was already placed on the grid. To get started, Sam needed to cross the covered territory and manually connect his Q-pid.
Fragile then suggested that Sam go get his gear ready, as the rest of the crew was waiting for him to step up while Dollman commented that this grand new adventure was exactly what Lou would have wanted.
