Lviv is a very old city, and the buildings there are also old. There are 100+ year old houses in my hometown and they are all concrete or granite. Likewise, everything in the entrances is made of solid materials. But in the city of the lion, when you enter the building, the first thing you see is a wooden staircase. It is as unusual as possible, but damn beautiful.
