If i'm being honest here it feels weird being tagged a newb, but a friend of mine likes to say 'it is what it is' (in a silly sounding way). But hold on, that's not what this post is about right?

I'm Zidideke, a Nigerian Singer-songwriter and instrumentalist.
I've joined hive since late november last year, though i made my introduction post in december. We were having our general examinations by then and my buddy who onboarded me advised me that I needed to take my time with it since it was going to be my first post on Hive.

I've been learning since then and while it's been fun exploring hive and it's eco system, there are times when i just felt bad because i came into hive thinking i just wanted to sing on the 
Immediately i got here i followed some friends i know in person like 
Hearing about things like De-Fi, DAOs and the likes for the first time made me dig deeper and more desperate(the good kind of course) to know more and i think that most new comers follow a similar process.
What do i blog about?
As implied by the photo above, here on hive i put out mostly video, musical content using 3speak.tv. I also like to write about sports, science, agriculture, personal experiences & adventures and any prompts that interest me.

Why the Newbies Initiative?
My desire to maximize my efforts here is what brings me to the New-bie initiate. I think it is a brilliant initiative and i am very excited by the prospects. My current Hive reputation is 56, so i hope to build on that and learn ways to improve my content and consistency to be as good as possible.
Hive is a platform for socialization, education and wealth creation, and the Newbies initiative is like a 'tour guide/hand book'
