My Dragon Spirit Battle - Splinterlands Weekly Challenge
Hello, everyone, and welcome to my second Splinterlands weekly battle.
You can find my notes and thoughts under the video.
(Edit: had to reupload video: Brave browser in fullscreen + NVIDIA recording + Splinterlands = bugged videos for me.)

My line-up:
-Tell us about your line-up. Explain why you put each card in that position and why they are a good fit with Dragon Spirit.
I use Kelp Initiate level 3 here to Cleanse the Poison off of my position one. Because it has 5 health, it can potentially Cleanse two or even three monsters under the right conditions. I use the Robo-Dragon Knight as the target for the Cleanse, but in this battle, my position 2 gets Cleansed as well.
Level 6 Gelatinous Cube is very powerful in both Earthquake and Noxious Fumes. Heal + Scavenger gives it amazing sustain.
I then throw on a couple of high-DPS magic monsters on the tail end to do a bit of damage before they die.
-Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
It worked perfectly. As you can see, the Dragon Spirit just sits in the mid-section of my line-up, taking no damage and just outlasting. There is a Splinterbites tip about simply 'outlasting' your opponent, and it is very often accurate.
-Do you like Dragon Spirit? Why or why not?
Once it has both Flying and Immunity at level 3, Dragon Spirit is a perfect middle-position card for both Earthquake and Noxious Fumes rulesets. And if you ever happen to get both Earthquake AND Noxious Fumes, a well placed Dragon Spirit can assure a win by taking no damage from either.
Getting it to level 5 or above would also add Redemption, which gives you a bit of damage on the card as a last resort.
That's it! I'm enjoying making these. I think you can expect at least a third next week so stay tuned.
Keep battling!
