Hello, Splinterlands players! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and enjoying their battles in the game. Today, I’m back with another battle from Frontier Mode which I’ve been playing regularly. This time, I want to share a battle that I managed to win while working on my daily mission.
One of my main goals when playing Frontier Mode is to complete my daily missions so I can earn Foundation Packs. I always look forward to opening these packs because you never know what useful cards or other exciting rewards you might get.
For now, let’s take a look at the battle I won and how it helped me progress toward completing my daily mission. Every win brings me to my goal, and I’m hoping to earn another Foundation Pack soon.
For this match, the ruleset was Noxious Fumes. There were two elements I considered: Water or Death. Water has higher attack because of magic but it can be countered by Death's Nim Guard Captain. Death also decrease health with its archon and Sorrow Harvester. So I decided to build my lineup around the Death element.
With that in mind, I built my Death lineup and hoped my opponent will choose Water. Now, let’s see how the battle played out and whether my chosen team was able to secure the victory!
My first card was Nim Guard Captain. If the other team choose Water, then this card will receive less magic attacks.
The second card is New Beluroc Aegis who can attract attacks. I'd rather this card sacrifice itself so that my other cards can survive for the meantime.
Third was Lenore Nevermore. It has eight health that will help it outlive the other team.
Fourth is Little Sister. It has Life Leech to help keep it healthy.
Fifth was Sorrow Harvester. It decreases the opponent's life together with the archon.
Last but not the least A'lan Musketeer. It has a high attack per round because of Double Strike.
The opposing team chose Water but did not go heavy on magic attacks. He had cards like Vengeful Monk that could be a problem because it will target my Little Sister. Lucky that they target New Beluroc Aegis first so my Little Sister was saved. Lenore and Little Sister's health was up until the end and they were the last survivors in my team.
