Hello to everybody I hope you are all well, today I invte you with the Train Bernina Express to one of the most amazing scenic and exictng train journey. The route start in Chur, Switzerland across the Alps, with breathtaking landscapes, glaciers, lakes, mountain villages, ending in Tirano, Italy. It s a UNESCO World Heritage route.
The spectaculare spiral Brusio viaduct managed the steep descent to the top, the highest point station is Ospizio about 2253 m. above sea level.
The train has panoramic carriages and via audio provid along the trip many information about key landmarks. A seat reservation is obligatory. The trip takes about 4 hours, here it was in summer . You can bring your own picnic. otherwise there is also a train restaurant.
