Here in Sattel are several historical buildings to visit. This medieval house was originally built in 1176 and is considered the most famous wooden house in Europe.
A display window offers an insight into the interior of the house and a multivision show in different languages explains the secrets of this building.
Archeological research has shown that the house has been several times dismantled, moved and rebuilt. Now this house has found its place next to Letzi tower.
Close to it, the Letzi Tower built abaut 1322 a well preserved example of these medieval fortification and border buildings, situated in Sattel, Swizerland.

The battle chapel St. Jakob built 1501 impresses with murals 1957 by Hans Schilter and images of the fourteen helpers in times of disaster inside and the Morgarten haus.
