I had been thinking about ways on how to augment our meager income from this little store that we run as our family business. It was just me and my daughter who is on her senior high now who runs the business. We do not have much outside help to keep it running. One challenge we have is the time of operation. We only open in the afternoon because that is the only time that both of us are free and available. It is a bit complicated long story why we had this store. Maybe on another post I can write about that.
We sell school supplies, a little computer gadgets, and an internet shop. Then a few more little services related to printing and scanning documents etc. Sometimes we are break even sometimes we do good. I think that is because we are only open for a few hours in a day. Today I decided that I add a few more items that would tickle the fancy of some of our regular customers. Most are female students who are so fond of beauty products. So I talked to my online friend who supplied me with beauty products with good margin. I was so excited to display them today and here they are.
That is about it. We fall we fail we do not meet our targets but we should come back up and think of ways to improve our performance and for me it is about staying relevant.
