Jollibee
My daughter is done with her senior high enrolment for the second semester. I was surprised to see her final grades from the previous semester. General average qualified for honors. So we took her out on a simple dinner that we can afford. First we are considering Jollibee a Filipino fast food place.
Chowking
I guess everyone of us must pass the Jollibee option so went to the next one which is a Filipino Chinese fast food place. I want some hot noodles and soup.

On our way home we bought this roasted chicken so my eldest son could have something for dinner.
A celebration like this one no matter how humble is perfect to express how happy we are. Happy because my daughter keeps her focus on her studies. Despite the time she has to spend in our small store to help manage it she found a way to balance school and her duties. That is more than enough for me as a mom. I am thankful for everything despite some day to day challenges.
