When does autumn start or end or does that even matter for someone like me who lives in a country with monsoon season 😁 Early last September I decided to do some autumn decorating around the house for a change. I kind of got bored with the ber months here in the Philippines which is almost always being about Christmas. So I thought I would introduce some fall inspired decorations begining this year.

This image above is my #diy fall flower arrangement. I picked the colors orange, golden yellow , butter and brown. I am not sure what these flowers could be I just kept twisting pinching and rolling some fuzzy wires until these happen. The pops of bright and vibrant colors uplift my mood especially now that we are experiencing gloomy dark skies with thunderstorm and rain in the late afternoon or evening. That's what the weather is like here so I think these beautiful autumn colors would bring some light and joy in my heart.

Here I am done with a few branches they are easy to make. One piece of fuzzy wires can make one bud of flower so cheap so easy and fun. Make several of them in your favorite colors then wrap their stems in brown floral tape.

The image above shows me wrapping the stems with brown floral tape . The stems gathered and arranged in any manner I like. I occasionally bend some stems to give it that real feel and look of a floral stem. I used burgundy shades and brown here to give the composition a different variety. I also love these colors very rich and 😋

This image shows my semi finished floral picks. Did you notice the white stems all of a sudden? The brown floral tape does not hold so tight and well and the stems kept collapsing. My immediate solution is use a masking tape oh boy that made a lot of difference. I also used floral wire but it gave me bulky stems that are too hard to pinch and twist. Glad I thought about masking tape making it easier for my fuzzy wires to attach to the bamboo skewers which is the final step in making these flowers. Later on I wrapped the stems with brown floral tape to hide that awkward white masking tape. I intend to reuse these so I coated the stems with PVA glue. Yeah that is like painting each single branch with glue which took time but worth the effort. The glue gave a subtle shine on the branches which is good

The image above shows me while I cover or wrap the white masking tape with brown floral tape. I was not able to photograph the painting of glue process because I got so absorbed with it and could not afford to multi task. the glue is quite messy as it sticks with all adjacent branches I am working on

The floral picks I made are very handy and flexible I could stick them anywhere I want just like in this garland with faux oak leaves. I think they made this garland more interesting

Look at all these fuzzy wires in front of me it makes me happy seeing bundles of them. Makes me even more motivated to create. The burgundy picks are too dark and they disappear in any arrangement I make 🥴do you guys have any suggestion I don't want to waste these beauties but I am struggling to work with this dark color.
