Lowest lows
Bring the brightest light
Shedding shadows
Off the darkest of nights
Sure it knows
But the soul has to grow
Reflecting on the drops
To reach higher tops
Delivering thoughts
New waves of art
From the thought weeds I part
Smell the berries, fresh start
Dancing on sound
My mystical crown
In the belly of the east
Breathes daisies & sheep
Talk's not so cheap
When the intention is sweet
I float off to a new cloud
Sun feels warmer here
Enjoying the mellow go round
No illusion or fear
Could it be or is it me?
We're all just stars orbiting
Cycling roles at the same time
Picking grapes whilst drinking wine
All's divine all the time
What's wrong is the mind
Reading around the line
There's energy dancing alive
Reminding us to fly
Embracing our infinite living mind
Wow, this poem is kind of trippy. I wrote this in a field in Florida. It was before beginning a reggae tour at the start of winter when I was very much in a final transitioning stage and had lost my balance; thankfully for the last time since. After this poem I will be only releasing fresh work that is relative to where I am now. Hope it could touch you in some way. If you've come this far in the post thank you kindly for lending a portion of your time to connect.
