Some are supporting, some are resisting it.
What are the benefits of legalizing it?
1. Well, first of all, this is a huge industry , all of what is underground now, going into dealers and traffickers pockets.
Tax on this could bring some nice bilion dollars, that could help other projects of the goverment or comunity
2. Secondly smoking marijuana, pot or cannabis is, according to many studies a very good medicine, that is also why it is being used in some States of America as a prescription to ease off pain. So if it could help patients? why keep it banned?
3. The most shocking reason why we should legalize it, is to prevent our children from becoming real criminals. It is known that in USA a big majority of criminal charges are of drug possession( and yes marijuana is included here among cocaine, opium, heroin, LSD), and commonly results in going to prison, were the bad influence and disappointment of being deprived of your freedom, often sets you up to joining a gang, taking real dangerous drugs,a nd ruining your life. Not to mention that your chance of getting a job after your resume includes being locked in prison are much slimmer.. And all because you someked a pot.
