I think the most overly used expression our days is what makes us truly happy about our lives.
Did we do all the things we wanted to do?
Did we reach our goals?
Do we feel accomplished as individuals in a society that wants to ignore the individualism and emphasis on the greater good?
I'm now in my late 20's and I still have so many things I wish I would do. Things like visiting Asia, the African jungle, the Amazon rain-forest, bungee jumping, jumping with a parachute, flying to Mars..
I also look around me and I see people content with what they have: a home, a family, children, a good job, and short holidays on the beach.
Is it just me, or should we all aspire for more? Who will be happier approaching the 70's? Does allowing me to dream of great things also puts me at the risk of disappointment?
I would love to hear you thoughts regarding this.
