Generaly speaking we tend to think that focus is good and distractions are bad.

When you get distracted it means you lost your focus, but what if your focus was on what's bad in your life at the moment?

What if you lost an important client, what if your best friend betrayed you, what if the love of your life - the person you have a family with- all of a sudden announces they're getting a divorce? And if that is all you can think of, is that a good thing?

And when that happens, is getting yourself distracted still bad, or is it actually a good thing?
But this is not how we usually tend to think of ourselves.

We tend to see focus as something that we choose to actively engage, and when we get distracted, we tend to see that as something that just happened to us, without our active participation.
When we focus, we are the victor and when we get distracted we are the victim -kind of thing.

But what if that's not true?
