Dragon fruit is a fruit that comes from Mexico. Dragon fruit has Latin name Hylocereus and Selenicereus. In English, dragon fruit is called the dragon fruit. In addition, dragon fruit is also called pitaya, thang loy and in Aceh called dragon boh.

Currently dragon fruit has been cultivated in the countries of Central America, South America and also in the Asian region which includes Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia .
Dragon fruit has several species including Hylocereus undatus (red colored fruit with white flesh), Hylocerus polyrhizus (pink fruit with red meat), Hylocerus costaricensis (fruit and flesh is dark red), Selenicereus megalanthus (fruityellow with white meat).

The following are some of the benefits of dragon fruit:
