My spontaneously organized week of posts dedicated to various monuments is coming to an end, and today, I publish a selection of pictures of statues, monuments, and sculptures taken during my two trips to the island of Tenerife, Spain. For clarity, I commented on some of the shots and provided a link to the location on Google Maps. I hope this information will be useful to someone.
This is a monument to one of the representatives of Canarias folk music, Sebastian Ramos, nicknamed El Puntero. Located in Punta del Hidalgo.
Along the promenade of Candelaria, there are nine bronze statues of the kings of the Guanches, the indigenous inhabitants of Tenerife.
Apparently, this monument is dedicated to the teacher and his students. Located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island. I couldn't find any information about this monument on the Internet.
A monument dedicated to the artists of La Orotava, who create carpets of flowers and volcanic sand on the streets of the city for the annual holiday. I told about this holiday in one of my old posts. The monument located here.
Finally, a sculpture of a sad woman in the Garcia Sanabria Park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Located here.
