I have been waiting for this day for two weeks, and it has finally arrived. This is going to be a spectacular weekend for us as a family, as the moment has come to fulfill one of our dreams. This year has been terrible, and many of the goals I had set could not be met; however, this opportunity has come to us as a blessing, showing us once again that things happen sooner or later—we simply need to have patience and faith. Life deals us blows sometimes, but there is always a solution.
It might sound overly dramatic, but that’s honestly how I feel, haha. I’m really excited and nervous because we’re going to visit a place I’ve always wanted to see; just thinking about it makes me feel like a little kid again. At the same time, though, the trip makes me pretty anxious. I’ve always been afraid of long journeys—and even though this one isn’t excessively long, I still get really nervous and worked up about it.
I don't want to tell you where I'm going just yet, as that’s for the next post—and I hope to take beautiful photos to share with you. I’m very happy and hope everything goes well so I can come back tomorrow and post a recap of my weekend trip.
I won't be home tonight or tomorrow, so I’ll probably have trouble sleeping, but it’ll be worth the lack of sleep—hahaha. I’m also pretty nervous because it’ll be the first time I’ve left my kitten Tommy alone; however, my father-in-law said he’d stop by early tomorrow to check on him, keep him company for a while, and feed him. It makes me really anxious for him to be all by himself since he’s so dependent, but I hope my father-in-law keeps him good company. Anyway, I hope to see you all soon and that you have a lovely weekend.
