Star storm

Feliz noche amigos, hace varios días que no dibujaba, hoy me he animado a hacer un retrato en blanco y negro, quería hacer algo sencillo pero que fuese bastante llamativo, pensé en estrellas y una tormenta, me gusta mucho estos dos elementos, asi que decidí unirlos con este retrato, en esta oportunidad quise dejar algo de textura en la piel, para hacer todo el acabado un poco mas rustico, me gusto mucho como quedo el cabello, últimamente estoy usando una técnica diferente para el pelo y me agrada mucho más, normalmente usaba un pincel con textura de cabello para pintar todo, ahora lo hago con un pincel duro y haciendo cada mechón por mi cuenta, queda un poco mas natural a mi parecer, espero que les guste.

Happy evening friends, it's been several days since I last drew, today I decided to do a black and white portrait, I wanted to do something simple but quite striking, I thought of stars and a storm, I really like these two elements, so I decided to unite them with this portrait, this time I wanted to leave some texture on the skin, to make the whole finish a little more rustic, I really liked how the hair was, lately I am using a different technique for the hair and I like it much more, normally I used a brush with hair texture to paint everything, now I do it with a hard brush and making each strand by myself, it looks a little more natural in my opinion, I hope you like it.

Realice el boceto y coloque un fondo gris oscuro para comenzar a pintar con tonos grises mas claros la piel, comencé a añadir cada tono dando luces y sombras, añadí una nueva capa donde agregue mas luces y sombras para formar mucho mejor el rostro, luego empecé a mezclar todos los grises, creando asi una piel mas suave pero manteniendo textura, para esto continue pintando siempre con el pincel de textura dura, pero bajando la opacidad para no dejar trazos tan marcados.

I made the sketch and placed a dark gray background to begin to paint with lighter gray tones the skin, I began to add each tone giving lights and shadows, I added a new layer where I added more lights and shadows to form much better the face, then I began to mix all the grays, thus creating a softer skin but maintaining texture, for this I continue painting always with the hard texture brush, but lowering the opacity to not leave so marked strokes.

Como les mencioné, para el cabello utilice igualmente el pincel duro, colocando de base un gris claro y luego comencé a pintar con grises mas oscuros y blancos para darle movimiento al cabello, dibuje también una auréola y colgando de ella algunas líneas que al final terminan en estrellas, para el fondo utilice un pincel con textura de nubes y comencé a pintar usando diferentes tonalidades de gris, después dibuje algunos rayos de fondo para continuar añadiendo una capa de luces, donde comencé a iluminar las estrellas, los rayos y algunas zonas del rostro que quería resaltar, finalice editando un poco la imagen agregando un poco mas de contraste y oscuridad a los trazos.

As I mentioned, for the hair I also used the hard brush, placing a light gray as a base and then I started to paint with darker grays and whites to give movement to the hair, I also drew an aureole and hanging from it some lines that at the end have stars, for the background I used a brush with a cloud texture and started to paint using different shades of gray, then I drew some rays in the background to continue adding a layer of lights, where I started to illuminate the stars, the rays and some areas of the face that I wanted to highlight, I finished editing a little bit the image adding a little more contrast and darkness to the strokes.
