Hola amigos, después de varios días sin dibujar y darle un poco de descanso a mis manos, hoy decidí retomar con un retrato a un estilo oriental, este estilo me gusta mucho pero jamás lo he practicado, me gustaría llegar a hacer muchos mas retratos así con muchísimo mas detalles, patrones, simbolismos y cosas que puedan representar la cultura con mi estilo e ideas quizás surrealistas o de fantasía, por ahora comencé con algo sencillo, fue bastante genial pintar esta obra, pues utilice colores fríos que me gustan mucho y a la vez hice un fondo que da un contraste diferente, pero que, al mismo tiempo, mantiene esa sensación de tonos fríos, espero que les guste.

Hello friends, after several days without drawing and giving my hands a little rest, today I decided to go back with a portrait in an oriental style, I like this style very much but I have never practiced it, I would like to make many more portraits like this with much more details, patterns, symbolisms and things that can represent the culture with my style and ideas maybe surrealistic or fantasy, for now I started with something simple, it was pretty cool to paint this work, because I used cold colors that I like a lot and at the same time I made a background that gives a different contrast, but at the same time, keeps that feeling of cold tones, I hope you like it.

Comencé mi boceto y elegí los colores para trabajar, esta vez usé tonos bastante fríos y desaturados que son mis favoritos, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle completamente la forma al rostro, continue mezclando todos estos colores para hacer una piel suave, luego me ocupe del traje el cual pinte con un rojo desaturado.

I started my sketch and chose the colors to work with, this time I used quite cold and desaturated tones which are my favorite, in a new layer I added more colors to give the face a complete shape, I continued mixing all these colors to make a smooth skin, then I took care of the suit which I painted with a desaturated red.

Aplique sombras en la ropa para crear pliegues y darle mas realismo a la tela, también añadí un rojo un poco mas saturado en las partes que quería iluminar del traje, en el cabello, coloque un tono oscuro de base es un tono casi negro, se me ocurrió hacerle esta especie de mechones de un tono gris, esto solo fue una prueba pero me gusto bastante asi que lo deje así, comencé a pintar la herida en el ojo haciendo líneas que parecen de garras, las cuales fui dándole mas forma y profundidad en nuevas capas jugando un poco con los modo de fusión de Photoshop, pinte unos cuernos saliendo del cabello, use rojo desaturado también para ello. Para el fondo se me ocurrió mezclar algunos colores como el naranja y azul, haciendo algunas partes desaturadas y otras un poco mas luminosas, pinte algunas líneas que simularían esta especie de pequeñas llamas de fuego alrededor de ella y también algunas flores de cerezo desenfocadas para combinarlas con el fondo, finalmente agregue un ajuste de color leve a todo el dibujo y algunas iluminaciones.

I applied shadows on the clothes to create folds and give more realism to the fabric, I also added a red a little more saturated in the parts that I wanted to illuminate the suit, in the hair, I put a dark base tone is an almost black tone, it occurred to me to make this kind of locks of a gray tone, this was only a test but I liked it enough so I left it like that, I started to paint the wound in the eye making lines that look like claws, which I was giving more shape and depth in new layers playing a little with the Photoshop blending modes, I painted some horns coming out of the hair, I used desaturated red also for it.
For the background I thought of mixing some colors like orange and blue, making some parts desaturated and others a little more luminous, I painted some lines that would simulate this kind of small flames of fire around her and also some cherry blossoms out of focus to combine them with the background, finally I added a slight color adjustment to the whole drawing and some illuminations.
