Hello Alien Art Hive community, this is my first post in this community and I am going to start this time by showing you one of my latest works and the process, this digital drawing is important to me since I played with a different color palette than the ones I usually use, I intend to make a kind of collection that has different shades, I seek to learn more about shadows and lights and how to apply them better but using colors that I usually do not put into practice, this time I chose a palette of purple, pink and a very bright to make the difference in light a little, although it is not as realistic as I usually like to do my illustrations, believe me I loved the mix of tones I used, I really liked this drawing.

Hola comunidad de Alien Art Hive, es mi primer post en esta comunidad y voy a comenzar en esta oportunidad mostrándoles uno de mis últimos trabajos y el proceso, este dibujo digital es importante para mí ya que jugué con una paleta de colores diferente a las que suelo usar, pretendo hacer una especie de colección que lleve diferentes matices, busco aprender más sobre las sombras y luces y como aplicarlas mejor pero usando colores que usualmente no pongo en práctica, esta vez elegí una paleta de tonos morados, rosa y un verde muy brillante para hacer un poco la diferencia de luz, aunque no queda tan realista como me gusta usualmente hacer mis ilustraciones, créanme que me encanto la mezcla de tonalidades que use, realmente me gustó mucho este dibujo.

Process/Proceso

I started with the sketch I wanted a girl in the best Mia Wallace style and I think I managed to capture something of her essence there, continue applying the colors it was quite difficult for me to understand how to compose these tones and make her look as good as possible, continue giving more details to each part of the character, I started with his eyes and then the other parts of the face, I painted without much care since I didn't want it to be perfect, I used a brush with a somewhat rustic texture and worked with it until the end.

Comencé con el boceto quería una chica al mejor estilo de Mia Wallace y creo que logre captar algo de su esencia allí, continue aplicando los colores fue bastante difícil para mi entender bien como componer estas tonalidades y que se viese lo mejor posible, continue dando mas detalles a cada parte del personaje, comencé por sus ojos y luego las otras partes del rostro, pinte sin mucho cuidado ya que no quería que quedase perfecto, use un pincel con una textura algo rustica y trabaje con ese hasta el final.

I worked on the background applying a neutral and dark tone first to start molding the rest, I wanted neon colors, but without exaggerating, I gave a lot of light in some parts, something that I really liked was his shirt, normally I have a hard time working with fabrics and clothes in general, but this time I just let myself go and without much care I managed to achieve a good application on the shirt, I feel that it turned out exactly as I wanted, finally after painting all the elements I began to play with the color adjustments of the drawing to give more light and clarity in some parts, although I am summarizing the process, it took almost two days to finish this drawing since it was quite difficult for me to place each color well, but I know that if I continue practicing I can improve it much more, in fact I already have a new drawing with a color palette quite similar to this.

Trabaje el fondo aplicando un tono neutro y oscuro primero para comenzar a moldear el resto, quería colores neón, pero sin exagerar, di mucha luz en algunas partes, algo que me gustó muchísimo fue su camisa, normalmente me cuesta mucho trabajar con telas y ropa en general, pero esta vez solo me deje llevar y sin mucho cuidado logre una buena aplicación en la camisa, siento que quedo justamente como quería, finalmente después de pintar todos los elementos comencé a jugar con los ajustes de color del dibujo para dar mas luz y claridad en algunas partes, aunque estoy resumiendo el proceso, tarde casi dos días para culminar este dibujo ya que fue bastante difícil para mí colocar bien cada color, pero sé que si continuo practicando puedo mejorarlo mucho mas, de hecho ya tengo en proceso un nuevo dibujo con una paleta de colores bastante similar a esta.
