Resentment

Hola gente espero que estén muy bien, esta vez quiero compartir con ustedes mi ultimo retrato uno para el cual quise usar el estilo que mas me gusta donde nunca puede faltar sangre lol, la verdad me gusto mucho porque siento que expresa muchas cosas, tanto la mirada como todo el gesto del rostro, quise hacer trazos muy fuertes para este dibujo y el cabello lo hice bastante rebelde y desordenado, algo que no suelo aplicar mucho en mis dibujos porque realmente se me complica pintar cabello ondulado, pero me ha gustado muchísimo el resultado.

Hello people I hope you are very well, this time I want to share with you my last portrait one for which I wanted to use the style that I like the most where blood can never be missing lol, I really liked it because I feel that it expresses many things, both the look and the whole gesture of the face, I wanted to make very strong strokes for this drawing and the hair I made it quite unruly and messy, something that I do not usually apply much in my drawings because I really find it difficult to paint wavy hair, but I really liked the result.

Comencé el boceto y elegí los tonos a utilizar, una paleta de color piel, normalmente suelo pintar solo el rostro con tonos base pero esta vez aplique una técnica que usaba cuando comencé a pintar retratos en digital, se trata de depositar los tonos base de todo el dibujo en una sola capa usando un pincel difuso, marcar las luces y sombras y asi el dibujo mientras va avanzando se ve mas natural al momento de hacer transiciones de luces y sombras, trabajar estos tonos juntos en una sola capa a veces es confuso pero resulta muy bien para ubicar las luces y sombras y crear cierto realismo, ahora si creamos una nueva capa donde comencé a colocar mas tonos que dieran forma al rostro y empecé a difuminarlos, para mezclar estos tonos use un pince con textura ya que quería unos trazos bastante fuertes y bien marcados.

I started the sketch and chose the tones to use, a palette of skin color, normally I usually paint only the face with base tones but this time I applied a technique I used when I started painting portraits in digital, it is to deposit the base tones of the whole drawing in a single layer using a diffuse brush, mark the lights and shadows and so the drawing as it progresses looks more natural when making transitions of lights and shadows, working these tones together in a single layer is sometimes confusing but it is very good to place the lights and shadows and create some realism, now if we create a new layer where I started to place more tones to give shape to the face and started to blur them, to mix these tones I used a textured brush because I wanted a very strong and well marked strokes.

Continue dándole forma al rostro, decidí pintar los ojos con un tono amarillo ya que no suelo experimentar con colores “fantasía” en los ojos, el amarillo es un color muy potente y me pareció muy adecuado a la expresión del dibujo pues agrega mas rudeza y ese aspecto mas salvaje, para el cabello utilice diferentes tonalidades creando así un contraste bastante interesante entre mechones, normalmente utilizo un pincel de cabello esta vez para darle mas realismo me ayude con este mismo pincel pero también utilice un pincel difuso y comencé a dibujar cada cabello, variando de opacidad, tono y tamaño, pinte sangre saliendo de la nariz y recorriendo la boca hasta finalmente caer por la barbilla, aun faltaba agregar luces al rostro para darle aun mas vida, así que creando una nueva capa con modo de fusión “screen” realice algunos puntos de luz, decidí colocar algo adicional y se me ocurrió estas alas negras saliendo del cabello, para el toque final hice un ajuste de imagen bastante leve, realmente solo para resaltar algunos trazos pero no altere el color de la imagen en esta ocasión porque me gusto como se veía.

Continue giving shape to the face, I decided to paint the eyes with a yellow tone since I don't usually experiment with "fantasy" colors in the eyes, yellow is a very powerful color and it seemed to me very adequate to the expression of the drawing because it adds more rudeness and that wild aspect, for the hair I used different tonalities creating a very interesting contrast between strands, normally I use a hair brush this time to give it more realism I helped myself with this same brush but I also used a diffuse brush and I began to draw each hair, varying opacity, tone and size, I painted blood coming out of the nose and going through the mouth until finally falling down the chin, I still needed to add lights to the face to give it even more life, so creating a new layer with "screen" blending mode I made some points of light, I decided to place something additional and I came up with these black wings coming out of the hair, for the final touch I made a fairly slight image adjustment, really just to highlight some strokes but I did not alter the color of the image this time because I liked the way it looked.
