Melancholic portrait

¡Saludos comunidad, espero que estén muy bien! Hoy les mostrare una de mis ultimas creaciones, me gusto bastante el estilo que le di a este dibujo y fue bastante laborioso, pero realmente disfrute hacer cada trazo de este arte, un retrato lleno de luces y dolor algo que me gusta muchísimo expresar en cada obra, espero que les guste y disfruten del proceso, fue bastante complicado y emocionante lograr este resultado final.

Today I will show you one of my latest creations, I quite liked the style that I gave to this drawing and it was quite laborious, but I really enjoyed making each stroke of this art, a portrait full of lights and pain, something that I really like to express in each work, I hope you like it and enjoy the process, it was quite complicated and exciting to achieve this final result.

Comencé con el boceto y en otra capa aplique los colores base que dejaría en cada zona incluyendo el fondo, en otras capas seguí pintando con el mismo pincel difuso y dando mas forma a este rostro siguiendo el boceto, mas adelante cuando ya estaban las formas un poco mas claras elimine el boceto para pintar mas a gusto, fui por partes, comenzando por su rostro.

I started with the sketch and in another layer I applied the base colors that I would leave in each area including the background, in other layers I continued painting with the same diffuse brush and giving more shape to this face following the sketch, later when the shapes were already little clearer, I eliminated the sketch to paint more at ease, I went in parts, starting with her face.

Continue con las manos, aplicando mil variaciones de color para darle mejor forma, difumine y mezcle estos tonos para formar finalmente la mano, seguí con el cuello y el cabello, en sus ojos quería ver mas oscuridad, asi que use el modo superponer para pintar con un color cálido/oscuro una especie de ojeras, también le di un poco mas de color a sus mejillas y nariz.

Continue with the hands, applying a thousand variations of color to give it a better shape, blur and mix these tones to finally form the hand, I continued with the neck and hair, in his eyes I wanted to see more darkness, so I used the overlay mode to paint with a warm/dark color a kind of dark circles, I also gave a little more color to her cheeks and nose.

En este punto comencé a pintar una pequeña luz que atraviesa su rostro para esta luz quería usar colores del arcoíris, como para hacer un efecto de reflejo de un vidrio que da hacia el sol, pero no me gusto como quedo asi que simplemente use dos tonos uno azul claro y un rojo bastante brillante, sin darle tanta luz por ahora ya que mas adelante decidiría si hacer este rayo mas fuerte o no, pinte sangre saliendo de su boca, en la imagen de tamaño original se puede apreciar esa sangre corriendo mucho mejor incluso por sus dientes. Finalmente aplique una especie de glitter en sus ojos y por supuesto un ajuste de color mas adecuado, intensifique la luz que había pintado y otras luces en general.

At this point I started to paint a small light that crosses his face for this light I wanted to use rainbow colors, like to make a reflection effect of a glass that faces the sun, but I didn't like how it turned out so I just used two tones one light blue and one quite bright red, without giving it so much light for now since later I would decide whether to make this ray stronger or not, paint blood coming out of its mouth, in the original size image you can see that blood running much better even by his teeth. Finally apply a kind of glitter on her eyes and of course a more suitable color adjustment, intensify the light that she had painted and other lights in general.

Y asi fue como realice este retrato que busca expresar melancolía y dolor, como casi todos mis trabajos. Espero que les haya gustado este post, nos vemos próximamente con una nueva ilustración!
