Let's work on a hat for an artistic makeup!

Hola comunidad 💖 hoy quiero compartir algo en lo que estuve trabajando ayer y hoy, pues se me metió en la cabeza hacer un maquillaje artístico de un personaje de terror que me gusta mucho porque da mucho miedo, no quiero decirles aun quien es porque es una sorpresa que verán el día de mañana en el maquillaje que hare, aunque no estoy satisfecha con el resultado creo que hice lo mejor que pude, el sombrero que lleva el personaje que voy a recrear no se ve para nada terrorífico lo terrorífico esta en el rostro de este monstro, sin embargo, siento que se ve demasiado tierno jajajaja siento que parece un emoji, el gorro y no quedo exactamente igual al original, pero tengo la esperanza de que luzca mucho mejor al momento de maquillarme, tambien quiero arreglarle un poco los bordes ya que me quedaron bastante descuidados, pero será el dia de mañana, realmente estoy agotada porque tuve que hacer algunas cosas dos veces porque salían mal, en fin, les mostrare el proceso para este sombrero el cual realice utilizando únicamente foamy.

Hello community 💖 today I want to share something I was working on yesterday and today, because I got it in my head to do an artistic makeup of a horror character that I like a lot because it is very scary, I do not want to tell you who it is because it is a surprise that you will see tomorrow in the makeup that I will do, although I am not satisfied with the result I think I did the best I could, the hat that the character I am going to recreate does not look scary at all the terrifying thing is in the face of this monster, however, I feel it looks too cute hahahaha I feel it looks like an emoji, the hat and not exactly like the original, but I hope it looks much better when I make up, I also want to fix a little bit the edges because they were quite sloppy, but it will be tomorrow, I'm really exhausted because I had to do some things twice because they came out wrong, anyway, I will show you the process for this hat which I made using only foamy.

Para esta oportunidad compre foamy rojo, un material que es bastante sencillo de trabajar, sin embargo, tenia un problema y es que aquí no vendían el foamy en pliegues, eso me hubiese facilitado mucho las cosas, pero siempre digo que podemos trabajar con lo que tenemos, tuve que comprar foamy rojo tamaño hoja carta, compre en total 9 hojas, al llegar a casa comencé a ensayar con el foamy y tirro, para cuadrar bien como lo uniría y también ir midiendo con mi cabeza para tener un círculo que encajara perfecto.

Con silicón caliente pegue todas las partes creando esta especie de tubo, luego tome dos hojas mas las cuales servirían de base y recorte un arco que encajaría en la parte donde se dejaría libre el hueco de la cabeza, para que esta parte de abajo quedara bien pegada y sin deformarse, realice algunas líneas que recorte y poco a poco fui uniendo cada cinta dentro del gorro, pudiendo asi pegarlo mas facil y sin riesgos de que se deformara el foamy.

For this opportunity I bought red foamy, a material that is quite easy to work with, however, I had a problem and that is that here they did not sell the foamy in folds, that would have made things much easier, but I always say that we can work with what we have, I had to buy red foamy sheet size letter, I bought a total of 9 sheets, when I got home I started to rehearse with the foamy and adhesive tape, to square well as I would join it and also go measuring with my head to have a circle that fit perfectly.
With hot silicone I glued all the parts creating this kind of tube, then I took two more sheet which would serve as a base and cut an arc that would fit in the part where the hole of the head would be left free, so that this bottom part would be well glued and without deforming, I made some lines that I cut and little by little I was joining each tape inside the hat, so I could glue it easier and without the risk of deforming the foamy.

En total, pegue 4 hojas de foamy en la base, también recorte un circulo de foamy el cual coloque encima para hacer la tapa del sombrero, hice una pausa al sombrero para ocuparme de los lentes, para los cuales hice la forma de unos lentes redondos sobre cartón, los cuales recorte y luego les abre un hueco en el centro donde se supone que va el cristal, en esta parte comencé a meter la tijera y a recortar formando el marco de los lentes.

In total, I glued 4 sheets of foamy on the base, I also cut a circle of foamy which I placed on top to make the lid of the hat, I paused the hat to take care of the glasses, for which I made the shape of round glasses on cardboard, which I cut out and then opened a hole in the center where the glass is supposed to go, in this part I began to put the scissors and cut forming the frame of the glasses.

Los pinte con pintura dorada, se veían muy bonitos, pero se me ocurrió ponerle una especie de cristal la cual haría con un envase de refresco vacio, recorte dos círculos y los puse al fuego para moldearlos, finalmente los pegue a los lentes, todo este trabajo fue en vano pues me di cuenta que los lentes eran demasiado pequeños y tenían que ser un poco mas grandes jajaja, pero eso no me detuvo, los volví a hacer mas grande pero con la diferencia de que los nuevos no tienen cristal hecho con envases de refresco porque ya no me quedaba, decidí dejarlo asi, recorte dos círculos de foamy negro los cuales simularían estos botones que a la ve son ojos. Para terminar, recorte la base del sombrero dándole una forma ovalada y luego tome una plancha de cabello con la cual hice esta especie de pliegues en los bordes del sombrero, esto no salió como esperaba la verdad jaja, el ultimo paso fue pegar los botones de ojos y los lentes y ya esta terminado.

I painted them with gold paint, they looked very nice, but it occurred to me to put a kind of glass which I would make with an empty soda can, I cut out two circles and put them in the fire to mold them, finally I glued them to the glasses, all this work was in vain because I realized that the glasses were too small and had to be a little bigger hahaha, but that didn't stop me, I made them bigger again but with the difference that the new ones don't have glass made with soda bottles because I didn't have any more, I decided to leave it like this, I cut two circles of black foamy which simulate these buttons that are eyes.
To finish, I cut the base of the hat giving it an oval shape and then I took a hair iron with which I made this kind of folds on the edges of the hat, this did not come out as I expected haha, the last step was to glue the eye buttons and glasses and it's finished.

Fue un trabajo sencillo pero complicado al mismo tiempo, como les dije, tengo la esperanza de que luzca mejor acompañado del maquillaje, espero que les guste y les sirva para alguna idea en el futuro, hasta pronto.
