Greetings Hive friends, this time I join the initiative created by floreces@floreces on recreating a look inspired by a decade, in this case I chose the 20s.
This proposal really seemed interesting to me. I was thinking a few days what look would combine with my face and my style, I definitely liked this a lot and although it was not easy to finish it I did the best I could.

The style of this decade sought to be a little more daring, I was investigating a little and the influence that women of this time took were the "dramatic" makeup that they used in theaters and actors, something that stood out a lot was the short hair style, Accessories were also an important part of this look as they carried feathers or velvet accessories.
The makeup used to be a very pale and matte base, the blushes were quite intense, highlighting the pink or orange colors, the eyebrows were very thin (compared to today, which are usually very thick) women of this time were looking for a somewhat melancholic look so They chose to shave their eyebrows and paint them with a fine arched line, the most used colors for the shadows were dark tones such as black or gray, black outlined and really voluptuous eyebrows up and down, lip makeup in my opinion is the most representative of this time since it gave a shape like "heart" in the upper part and wanted the mouth to look smaller than normal but with a totally beautiful shape, to finish the colors used in the lips were almost always dark tones, to I love to highlight the lips of this style, really the makeup style of this time reminds me a lot of the Betty Boop cartoon which even premiered in 1926.
This look, apart from looking something dramatic, has that characteristic that I love, which is to look like a theatrical makeup and from a time where women sought to innovate their style, making themselves known to the world even more.

Process/Proceso.

Recreating this style that sought more than anything to represent the look of the "Charleston" dancers was not an easy task, what cost me the most was to cover my real eyebrows since I have them a bit thick and dark, I tried to do the best I could to cover them but it was a super difficult job, I started applying base, which I spread all over my face and then with white body paint I gave a few touches to make the tone lighten and look a little paler.
For this makeup I chose earth tones, orange and black, I really wanted to make it very dramatic and exaggerated so I mixed these shadows until I got that daring look by even painting my eyebrows with these shadows.

With a black pencil I painted my eyebrows, with a very fine line and a little arched, this part was the most difficult since it did not convince me at all but I went ahead haha, I added false eyelashes above and a little at the end of the lower part of my eye, I highlighted my moles with black pencil since at that time the moles also stood out a lot, so I painted them and also began to add quite pink blush finally I applied quite dark red lipstick on my lips giving the representative shape of this time and only I needed to put some accessories to finish my Look!
