Burning inside

Hola amigos, espero que tengan un buen fin de semana. Yo estuve trabajando estos últimos días en este dibujo que me gusto mucho, pues quise hacer algo bastante llamativo pero atractivo, como saben me encanta poner mucho brillo en muchas de mis ilustraciones, en esta oportunidad quise utilizar ese brillo en contraste con tonos opacos para hacerlo resaltar aun más, quise realizar esta especie de grietas que iluminan como si fuese algo caliente que quema por dentro de la piel, también combine un poco los ojos con estas luces y además quise añadir una combinación entre naranja y rosa, una combinación que antes me daba mucho miedo probar pero que ahora se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas, espero que les guste.

I was working these last days on this drawing that I liked a lot, because I wanted to do something quite striking but attractive, as you know I love to put a lot of brightness in many of my illustrations, this time I wanted to use that brightness in contrast with opaque tones to make it stand out even more, I wanted to make this kind of cracks that illuminate as if it were something hot that burns inside the skin, also combine a little eyes with these lights and also wanted to add a combination of orange and pink, a combination that before I was very afraid to try but now has become one of my favorites, I hope you like it.

Para esta oportunidad utilice una referencia de una chica que me gusto bastante, se me hace realmente hermosa y quise retratarla, conseguí esa foto en Pinterest hace algún tiempo pero ya no recuerdo la fuente, en fin ella es muy bella y quería retratarla, realice el boceto y elegi los colores para trabajar, los colores son bastante diferentes a la fotografía original porque como les mencioné quería realizar una combinación de colores entre rosa, morado y naranja que me encanta, entonces comencé a rellenar con un rosa de base por toda la piel y luego agregue mas tonalidades con ayuda del pincel difuso, delimitando donde estarían las sombras y luces, en una nueva capa comencé a añadir muchísimos mas detalles de color para darle la forma completamente al rostro. Pinte el cabello y mezcle todos los colores de la piel, creando asi una piel suave.

For this opportunity I used a reference of a girl that I like a lot, she is really beautiful and I wanted to portray her, I got that photo on Pinterest some time ago but I don't remember the source, anyway she is very beautiful and I wanted to portray her, I made the sketch and chose the colors to work with, the colors are quite different from the original photograph because as I mentioned I wanted to make a combination of colors between pink, purple and orange that I love, then I started to fill with a pink base all over the skin and then I added more shades with the help of the diffuse brush, delimiting where the shadows and lights would be, in a new layer I started to add many more details of color to give the shape completely to the face.
I painted the hair and mixed all the colors of the skin, creating a soft skin.

Termine de detallar la piel y luego me ocupe de pintar su saco de color negro, ahora comencé a dibujar estas grietas de naranja claro, duplique las grietas y les aplique un desenfoque para hacerlas brillar un poco mas y ajuste el modo de fusión de esta capa, creando así este efecto de luz en las grietas, quise hacer lo mismo para el fondo, agregue mas detalles de luces y en el cabello, para finalizar realice un mínimo ajuste de color que realmente no se nota mucho pero oscurecí un poco ciertas partes y resalte otras.

I finished detailing the skin and then I took care of painting her coat black, now I started to draw these light orange cracks, I duplicated the cracks and applied a blur to make them shine a little more and adjusted the blend mode of this layer, thus creating this light effect on the cracks, I wanted to do the same for the background, I added more details of lights and hair, to finish I made a minimal color adjustment that really is not very noticeable but I darkened a little certain parts and highlighted others.
