Fungi - Commune Schizophyllum

More than a week where I live it hasn't rained, then yesterday it rained again and even then it wasn't too heavy but enough to make some plants quench their thirst.

And after yesterday's rain, I was excited to hunt for mushrooms in a community-owned cocoa plantation in the interior of North Aceh, Indonesia. The clock started to show at 15.00 WIB and I rushed to the destination location, namely the cocoa plantation. Arriving there the weather was not friendly again because black clouds began to cover the sun, then the drizzle began to feel a sign of heavier rains coming soon.

And because it was going to rain more heavily, I moved quickly to look for mushrooms in the cocoa garden, after a while I only found "Jamur Gerigit" the Indonesian name, which grows on the rotten branches of a cocoa tree.

"Jamur Gerigit" I mean is Commune Schizophyllum, a species of fungus in the genus Schizophyllum. This fungus is easily found on rotting branches of cocoa, rubber, or sago fronds and here are some photos:
