Rainfall has not been as high as a month ago, in the past week it has only rained 2 days a week and even then it has rained lightly or not too heavily. As mushroom hunters, of course, I and others would expect more frequent rains, but complaining is certainly not a solution.
Rain or not, I am still motivated to look for mushrooms in the forest or gardens, such as oil palm plantations, cocoa, rubber and others. Because that's where the potential for mushrooms will grow, in addition to many rotting plant branches, there are also shady conditions that will make some tree branches overgrown with fungus.
And yesterday I took the time to hunt mushrooms in a rubber garden owned by a farmer in Serba Jaman Tunong village, North Aceh, Indonesia. That's where I found the mushroom species Cheimonophyllum, a genus of fungi in the family Cyphellaceae. Here are some photos:
