Yesterday I went hunting in the bushes on the banks of a river in a remote village located in North Aceh, Indonesia. And there I found several species of insects, one of the photos of which I want to share in this post.
Is a beautiful little butterfly with the binomial name Acraea terpsicore. Its distinctive feature is the dominant yellow or slightly orange color with black on the head and antennae and a little white on the tips of the wings.
This butterfly is also quite wild although in the end we can also photograph it. Of course with repeated efforts until the butterfly feels tired so it will stop for a moment to rest.
Meanwhile, the existence of this butterfly is quite widespread in parts of the world, generally in Asia and Southeast Asia in particular, such as in Indonesia. Because the habitat of butterflies that live in bush areas makes Southeast Asia a comfortable place to breed because as we know Southeast Asia is a country with a tropical climate.
Another reason the butterfly chose the bush area was none other than because there were several wild plants that were flowering. Where there are flowers that bloom there will surely be butterflies.
In this photo you can see a beautiful butterfly that I managed to capture photos perched on a wild plant flower. Besides butterflies, other insect species that like wild plant flowers are wasps and bees, and all of them are none other than because they want to suck the nectar that is in these flowers. Duh.. it's already sweet, it turns out that butterflies also like sweet things. :)
